About Department
- The Department of Political Science & Public Administration is as old as the institution.
- The study of Political Science as a subject started since the establishment of college i.e. 1923. In the beginning the Department of History & Political Science was a combined Department.
- The subject Political Science was separated from History and the Department of Political Science was established in 1966.
- The Public Administration subject was started in 1969 combined with Political Science. Prof. Bari was first Head of combined dept. Prof. Murti was first professor in Public Administration.
- Department of Public Administration separated from the Dept. of Political Science & Public Administration in 2022.
